I didn't have any noticable lag. I used to be able to reliably hit buttons in a series and have them fire off when the previous spell was complete. After GU43/44 it was almost to the point where I had to wait until a spell completed casting before I hit another button, otherwise the spell would not cast. I still get that, but less often (maybe 1/5th of the time).
